Terms

These terms apply when you buy or use RentDossier documents. Purchases are processed by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, delivery, VAT and refunds. RentDossier documents are also available on other marketplaces, where that marketplace's terms apply.

These documents are not legal advice

RentDossier provides document-organisation tools and general information for tenants in England. They are not legal advice, and we are not a law firm or a claims management company. No outcome is guaranteed in any deposit or tenancy dispute. For advice on your specific situation, contact Shelter, Citizens Advice or a solicitor.

Written for England

The documents follow the rules, deposit schemes and terminology of England's private rented sector. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have different rules, and the documents may not be appropriate there.

What you get

Every purchase is a digital download delivered through Gumroad. Nothing is posted to you. Files are supplied as fillable and print-ready PDFs.

Licence

You may use the documents for your own tenancies, and print as many copies as you need for that purpose. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or share the files, or use them as the basis of a competing product.

Refunds

If a file will not open or download, email us within 7 days and we will fix it or refund you in full. Because these are instant digital downloads that you access immediately, you agree that your statutory right to cancel ends once the download begins, so we cannot refund simply for change of mind after that point. This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty or not as described.

Liability

We provide the documents as they are. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from how you use them, including the outcome of any deposit claim or dispute. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
